Props Needed

Here is a list of props needed for our musical this year.  If you can donate any of these items, it will greatly be appreciated.  Students will receive 50pts for each donated item.  Please do not feel obligated to buy any items, only do so if you can.

Costumes

THE CLASSROOM:

 Mrs. Davis – dressy; teacher like

 Students

Boys – blue jeans, nice shirt tucked in w/belt; no tennis shoes

Girls – skirt or pants, nice shirt; no denim & no tennis shoes

 

NEW YORK SCENE:

 Policemen – matching uniforms (see me)

 Mr. Vitale – khaki pants, white t-shirt, white apron (full length)

 Moma Rosa – solid colored skirt to ankles,  plain, solid t-shirt, white half-apron

 Castaways

costume #1 – old, torn, clothing (no denim) that resembles early 20th century (cut-off or rolled pj bottoms/sweats & old, torn t-shirts or thermal tops – get creative but keep true to the late 1800’s & early 1900’s attire)

costume #2 – boys – khaki bottoms & long sleeve button-down shirt; girls – nice dress or skirt with plain top remember time era

 

 Slippery Sam – black or navy pants, white long sleeve button-down shirt (I will provide a vest)

 Mr. Grimsby – khaki pants, long sleeve white or blue button-down shirt, bow tie/suspenders if possible

 Mrs. Barnaby – long skirt to knees with dress shirt both a solid color or dress to ankle (should look early 20th century)

 

 Pedestrians/Foster Parents – boys – dress like Mr. Grimsby;  girls – dress like Mrs. Barnaby

 

 


*No one should wear tennis shoes except castaways and they should look really bad!  Remember, the castaways have been getting their clothes from the trash. 

 

*Everyone should bring costume to me for approval before March.
